Next Generation HID Lighting Systems by WAT for Citation aircraft

Whelen Aerospace Technologies’ specialty is the engineering and manufacturing of High Intensity Discharge (HID) lighting system. We manufacture complete kits for multiple makes and models for Federal Aviation Administration Part 23, Part 25, and Part 27 aircraft. Each kit carries a supplemental Type Certificate (STC) and Part Manufacturing Approval (PMA) covering over 300 aircraft models. We deliver complete upgrade systems to replace older technology which would include incandescent lamps and poorly performing LED lights.

Whelen Aerospace Technologies (WAT) Citation 500 & 550 series landing light installation kit. This kit features model-specific housings. Each lamp is independently powered by the WAT patented 85-watt ballasts, that is mounted via click bond studs, so no drilling into the aircraft is required. This system comes with all components needed for installation along with all STC paperwork.
