Rosen Sunvisor Systems - 3rd Axis Upgrade Kit (Universal) (Sliding Arm System)

$
This 3rd axis modified block replaces the standard block to give you an additional range of motion- it allows the visor to swing downward at an arc. It is also useful on float planes with the V brace to maneuver the lens around the tubes. Each kit contains a pair of blocks, STC, installation instructions, and hex keys to switch out your blocks. Install time is about 20 minutes.

How do you know if you have Rosen factory standard or 3rd axis modified blocks? Standard blocks (the corner hinge part) will allow you to rotate your visors upward to stow, rotate to the side window, and the visor will slide on the arm. 3rd axis blocks will do all of those same movements plus rotate downward towards your lap for more window coverage. See STC below for aircraft AML.

Due to design changes, this upgrade kit may not fit properly on Rosen visor systems manufactured prior to 1996.

The Cessna 3rd axis Lenses shown are recommended but not required. These lenses are designed to articulate in every direction available to the system, while the standard lenses have some slight restrictions at the extreme orientations of the lens. The lens is 1" wider at the outboard sides and has an additional notch at the upper outboard corner to accommodate the 3rd axis block rotation. Include lens part number RCS-200-1A (R1180301-002) in your order. Sold as a single lens, not in pairs.
