Canopy/Cockpit/Fuselage Covers:
Custom-designed for the Piper Clipper, Pacer, Tri-Pacer, Vagabond, and Colt (PA-15, 16, 20, 22), these Canopy Covers protect the windshield, side, rear windows, and cabin roof from heat, weather, and leaks, while keeping surfaces clean and preventing vandalism. The one-piece Over-The-Top design wraps around the canopy, fastening with Velcro behind both pilot and copilot doors to allow entry without removing the cover, and secures with adjustable belly straps, side tightening straps, integrated shock cord, and padded quick-release buckles for a snug fit. Made from reflective Silver Acrylic Sunbrella and fully lined with soft microfiber, the covers are water, ice, and snow repellent, UV and static resistant, breathable to prevent moisture buildup, and gentle on painted surfaces, helping reduce cabin temperatures to near-ambient levels. Each cover is custom sewn with color-matched corners, optional registration number imprinting, and includes a duffle bag for storage, providing durable, all-weather protection for your aircraft.
Engine/Prop Covers:
Engine and propeller covers for the Piper Clipper, Pacer, Tri-Pacer, Vagabond, and Colt (PA-15, 16, 20, 22) provide complete protection for the engine and spinner while supporting cold-weather preheating. The engine cover cinches around or behind the spinner, fully encloses the engine cowl and air inlets, fastens with Velcro down the front, and secures with a belly strap aft of the firewall, with the option to attach to a canopy cover. Standard covers are made from Solution-Dyed Polyester or Acrylic Sunbrella, while insulated versions use a thicker, quilted, water-repellent composite with 3M Thinsulate and soft interior lining, with optional access flaps. Matching one-piece propeller covers slip over blades and spinner, attach with an all-weather zipper, and are lined with soft microfiber, with insulated versions providing additional thermal protection. Both engine and prop covers are crafted from reflective Silver Acrylic Sunbrella canvas, water, ice, and snow repellent, UV and static resistant, breathable, and gentle on painted surfaces, helping maintain near-ambient temperatures and protect aircraft components in all conditions.
Plugs and Protection:
Engine Inlet Plugs for the Piper Clipper, Pacer, Tri-Pacer, Vagabond, and Colt (PA-15, 16, 20, 22) are custom-made to fit each aircraft's intakes, crafted from heavy-duty vinyl and filled with a single block of sculpted urethane foam. Each plug includes a zipper for easy foam removal and drying, and features visible warning flags or “remove before flight” streamers for safety. Most plugs can be personalized with the aircraft registration number for an additional charge. Also known as Cowl Plugs, Intake Plugs, Cowl Blocks, Engine Blocks, or Engine Bungs, these plugs help protect the engine when installed after flight, even while the engine is still warm, though a storage bag is not included.
Wing/Tail/Empennage Covers:
Horizontal stabilizer, empennage, and wing covers for the Piper Clipper, Pacer, Tri-Pacer, Vagabond, and Colt (PA-15, 16, 20, 22) provide full protection against sun damage, frost, snow, ice, corrosion, and hail, helping to preserve paint and control surfaces. Made from durable Solution-Dyed Polyester or Silver Acrylic Sunbrella, these covers are designed to form-fit over the upper surfaces, wrapping around leading and trailing edges and securing with adjustable straps, with accommodations for static wicks, antennas, and common wing modifications such as STOL kits or droop tips. Available in winter-use or all-year materials, the heavier all-year Silver Acrylic Sunbrella offers maximum UV protection and durability, while the lighter Solution-Dyed Polyester is suitable for seasonal or occasional use. Hail Protection versions incorporate dense closed-cell foam for added impact resistance, and empennage covers provide one-piece protection for vertical and horizontal stabilizers, tailboom, and rudder, with zippered closures and strap cinches to ensure a secure fit in all conditions.
Heat Shields and Sun Reflectors:
Heatshields are interior sunshades designed to protect an aircraft’s cockpit from excessive heat by blocking sunlight through windows or the windshield. Made from a lightweight composite of closed-cell foam with a reflective silver Mylar finish, the semi-rigid design allows the heatshield to stand in place using sun visors or window framing. They fold flat for easy storage in the included sleeve, with some models using Velcro, suction cups, or split left and right sections for a precise fit. While highly effective for short-term cockpit overheating, exterior fabric covers are recommended for long-term protection.
Miscellaneous Products:
Tire and Wheelpant Covers protect your aircraft’s wheels, tires, and wheelpants from sun damage and wear from tow bar use. Made from durable Silver Acrylic Sunbrella canvas, these covers are suitable for all-year use, offering excellent protection against sun, rain, snow, and other weather conditions while ensuring long-lasting performance.
Light Weight Travel Covers:
The Lightweight Travel Canopy Cover will cover the same area as our standard Canopy Cover, but the material used is very lightweight and will fold up and store in a much smaller space. This cover is ideal for the airplane that is stored in a hangar full-time and only needs a cover on rare occasions. Travel Covers are made with Silver Solution-Dyed Polyester fabric and only lined over the windshield to save weight. The material is lightweight and more compact for easy stowage in the aircraft. The polyester material is water resistant, but only intended for occasional use outside. We also have an ultra lightweight material available for fitted hangar dust covers. For daily outdoor use, the non-travel Sunbrella Cover is the best choice.
