Canopy/Cockpit/Fuselage Covers:
The Gulfstream Aerospace Gulfstream I Cockpit Cover is designed to protect the windshield and side windows from heat, moisture, and environmental damage while helping reduce interior temperatures and protecting upholstery and avionics. Made from reflective Silver Acrylic Sunbrella canvas and fully lined with soft microfiber, it prevents scratches, repels water, ice, and snow, resists UV exposure, and remains breathable to allow moisture to escape. The cover helps keep windows clean, deter vandalism and theft, and reduce issues from leaking seals. It secures with rugged nonmetal Delrin buckles, is trimmed to match the aircraft’s colors, includes a storage duffle bag, and offers optional N-number imprinting for a custom finish.
Engine/Prop Covers:
The Propeller Cover is a one-piece, form-fitting design that slips over the propeller blades and spinner and secures with a durable all-weather plastic zipper along the bottom of the blades. Custom made to accommodate multiple blade configurations and wooden, composite, or metal propellers, the cover is constructed from Silver Acrylic Sunbrella or Solution-Dyed Polyester and fully lined with a soft microfiber to prevent scratching. The reflective, medium-weight outer fabric is treated for water resistance, UV protection, and anti-static buildup, while remaining breathable to allow moisture to escape. Optional insulated versions feature a thicker, quilted, water-repellent construction ideal for cold climates and engine preheating, providing reliable protection from heat, cold, moisture, and environmental exposure.
Plugs and Protection:
Engine Inlet and Exhaust Plugs for the Gulfstream Aerospace Gulfstream I are custom fit to the aircraft’s intakes and exhaust openings and constructed from heavy-duty vinyl with a single block of sculpted urethane foam for secure, reliable protection. Each plug features highly visible “Remove Before Flight” streamers or warning flags, and inlet plugs include a zipper that allows the foam core to be removed for drying if needed. Designed for convenience, the plugs may be installed soon after flight while the engine is still warm. Optional black aircraft registration number imprinting is available, and storage bags are not included. Also commonly known as cowl plugs, intake plugs, engine blocks, cowl blocks, or engine bungs, these plugs help protect against debris, moisture, and environmental damage.
Heat Shields and Sun Reflectors:
Cockpit Heatshields are interior sunshades designed to reduce cockpit heat buildup. They are made from a unique composite of closed-cell foam with a silver mylar finish and feature a semi-rigid construction that allows them to stand securely inside the window framing. The Heatshields fold flat for compact storage in the included sleeve, and some configurations may use Velcro or suction cups for proper fit. While highly effective as a short-term solution for minimizing cockpit overheating, an exterior fabric cover is recommended for more effective long-term protection.
