The Aero 553-101-001 Digital Carbon Monoxide (CO) Detector is a TSO-certified, panel-mounted solution for both FAA-certified and experimental aircraft. Designed to replace a standard 2.25-inch (2 1/4”) panel clock, it provides fast, accurate carbon monoxide monitoring with real-time PPM readings shown on a clear LCD display.

CO levels from 10 to 999 ppm are continuously monitored. If concentrations remain above 75 ±5 ppm for more than five minutes, the unit activates audible alerts and headset tones. When levels exceed 300 ppm, warnings are triggered within one minute to ensure rapid pilot awareness.

This detector is a practical safety upgrade for aircraft with an open 2 1/4-inch instrument position and typically installs in just a few hours.

All Guardian Avionics CO detectors include a one-year limited warranty and feature a CO sensor with a 5–7 year TBO for dependable long-term operation.
