Canopy/Cockpit/Fuselage Covers:
Beech 1900C Canopy, Cockpit, Cockpit/Nose, and Nose Covers from Bruce’s Custom Covers are custom-designed to protect the aircraft’s windshield, side windows, canopy roof, and forward fuselage from excessive heat, moisture, and environmental exposure while helping reduce interior temperatures and protect upholstery and avionics. These covers keep windows clean, help prevent vandalism and theft, and can mitigate issues caused by leaking door and window seals. Each cover is individually tailored to the aircraft model and specific antenna or probe locations, secured with adjustable belly straps, nonmetal Delrin quick-release buckles, and shock cord sewn into the hem for a tight, secure fit. Constructed from reflective, medium-weight Silver Acrylic Sunbrella canvas and fully lined with a soft, smooth microfiber developed specifically for aircraft protection, the covers resist water, ice, snow, UV exposure, and static buildup while remaining breathable to allow trapped moisture to escape. Color-matched trim, optional N-number imprinting, and an included duffle bag complete a durable, professional-grade protection solution for the Beech 1900C.
Engine/Prop Covers:
The Engine, Propeller, and Prop/Exhaust Covers are designed to provide comprehensive protection and thermal control for both hot and cold operating environments. Engine Covers cinch around or behind the spinner, fully enclosing the engine cowling, cooling, and induction air inlets, fastening securely with Velcro beneath the spinner and a belly strap aft of the firewall, with the option to Velcro to a Canopy Cover; they are typically made from Solution-Dyed Polyester or Acrylic Sunbrella, with insulated versions available for cold climates. Insulated Engine Covers use a composite of solution-dyed polyester, 3M Thinsulate insulation, and a soft nylon interior to complement engine preheaters and help retain heat after shutdown, reducing cold-weather engine wear, with optional access flaps available. Propeller Covers feature a one-piece, form-fitting design that slips over the blades and spinner and secures with a durable all-weather zipper, accommodating various blade counts and prop materials, while Prop Tie-Down/Exhaust Covers are constructed from heavy-duty red vinyl with adjustable nylon webbing and spring-secured attachments to protect exhaust outlets and stabilize the prop. Propeller and insulated prop covers are made from Acrylic Sunbrella or Solution-Dyed Polyester, fully lined with soft microfiber or quilted insulated materials, offering water resistance, breathability, UV protection, and scratch prevention for reliable, all-season aircraft protection.
Plugs and Protection:
Beech 1900C Pitot Tube Covers and Engine Inlet Plugs provide essential ground-protection for critical systems during parking and storage. Standard (non–heat resistant) Pitot Tube Covers are made from durable Naugahyde vinyl and fully enclose the pitot assembly, slipping over the tube and securing at the base with a Velcro strap, with an attached “Remove Before Flight” streamer for visibility; an optional heat-resistant upgrade is available to prevent melting if pitot heat is inadvertently activated, and sets can be tethered together upon request. Engine Inlet Plugs are custom fit to the Beech 1900C intakes and constructed from heavy-duty vinyl with a single block of sculpted urethane foam for a secure seal, featuring a zipper for foam removal and drying, sewn warning flags or streamers, and optional black aircraft registration number imprinting; they may be installed shortly after flight while engines are still warm, with storage bags not included.
Wing/Tail/Empennage Covers:
Beech 1900C Horizontal Stabilizer and Wing Covers provide comprehensive protection against sun damage, frost, snow, ice buildup, corrosion, and environmental exposure while preserving painted and control surfaces. Custom fit and constructed from either durable Silver Acrylic Sunbrella for all-year use or lighter Solution-Dyed Polyester for seasonal winter use, these covers fully protect the upper surfaces and wrap around the leading and trailing edges, securing with adjustable straps for a stable fit. Wing covers slip over each wingtip, are labeled LEFT and RIGHT for easy installation, can connect beneath the fuselage for added security, and may include cutouts for static wicks or accommodations for wingtip modifications such as STOL kits, droop tips, and vortex generators. Optional hail-protection versions incorporate dense closed-cell foam across the upper surfaces to help protect wings and stabilizers from small to medium hail, making these covers ideal for aircraft stored outdoors in demanding weather conditions.
Heat Shields and Sun Reflectors:
Cockpit Heatshields are interior sunshades designed to reduce cockpit heat buildup by fitting securely inside the aircraft’s window framing. Made from a unique composite of closed-cell foam with a silver mylar finish, the semi-rigid panels are stiff enough to stand in place while still folding flat for compact storage in the included sleeve. Some configurations may use Velcro or suction cups for proper positioning. Heatshields provide an effective short-term solution for cockpit overheating, while an external fabric cover is recommended for more effective long-term heat protection.
Miscellaneous Products:
Tire or Wheelpant Covers are designed to protect aircraft wheelpants, tires, and wheels from sun damage as well as incidental contact from tow bars during ground handling. Constructed from durable Silver Acrylic Sunbrella canvas, the all-year-use material provides excellent UV protection, long service life, and reliable performance in all weather conditions, including rain, snow, and prolonged sun exposure.
