Canopy/Cockpit/Fuselage Covers:
Canopy Covers for Beech Bonanza 36 models are designed to protect the airplane’s windshield, side windows, canopy roof, and engine cowl while reducing interior heat and preventing damage to upholstery and avionics from excessive sun exposure. Custom-fitted to each aircraft’s antenna and probe placements, the covers attach securely with adjustable belly straps and integrated shock cord, ensuring a snug fit. Made from Silver Acrylic Sunbrella canvas with a 100% soft microfiber lining, the covers are water, ice, and snow repellent, UV resistant, anti-static, and highly reflective to maintain near-ambient cabin temperatures on the hottest days, while remaining breathable to allow moisture to escape. Available in standard Canopy, Extended Canopy, Canopy/Engine, and Extended Canopy/Engine versions, each cover can feature color-matched corners, optional registration imprinting, and comes with a duffle bag. These covers are also referred to as Cabin, Fuselage, Canvas Covers, or Canopy Caps and are designed to integrate seamlessly with other full-aircraft cover sets.
Engine/Prop Covers:
Bruce's Custom Engine and Propeller Covers for Beech Bonanza 36 models are designed to protect the engine, cowl, air inlets, and propeller from weather, cold, and wear. Standard engine covers cinch around or behind the spinner, cover the entire engine cowl, and fasten with Velcro beneath the spinner, while belly straps secure the cover aft of the firewall and allow attachment to Canopy Covers. They are typically made from Solution-Dyed Polyester or Acrylic Sunbrella, and insulated versions use a composite of polyester, 3M Thinsulate, and soft nylon to retain heat and support engine preheating in cold climates. Propeller covers are form-fitted to the spinner and blades, available for multiple blade types, and are lined with microfiber to prevent scratches. Insulated propeller covers are thicker, quilted, water-repellent, and breathable, reflecting heat to maintain near-ambient temperatures. Heavy-duty prop tie-down and exhaust covers, as well as hangar blankets, are available to provide additional winter protection, all designed to be durable, UV- and water-resistant, and fully protective for aircraft storage and operation.
Plugs and Protection:
Custom Pitot Tube and Engine Plugs for Beech Bonanza 36 models are designed to protect sensitive aircraft components from damage, debris, and accidental contact in hangars or during storage. Standard pitot tube covers, made of Naugahyde vinyl, slip over the entire pitot assembly and tighten at the base with Velcro, featuring a "Remove Before Flight" streamer; heat-resistant versions are available to prevent melting if pitot heat is accidentally turned on. Engine exhaust and inlet plugs, also crafted from heavy-duty vinyl and padded with sculpted urethane foam, are custom-fitted to the aircraft’s openings and include warning flags or "Remove Before Flight" streamers, with optional registration imprinting. Engine inlet plugs, sometimes called cowl plugs, intake plugs, or engine bungs, have removable foam for drying and can be inserted while the engine is still warm. Made of bright red Naugahyde with thick padding, these products protect extremities in crowded hangars while providing high visibility and durability.
Wing/Tail/Empennage Covers:
Horizontal Stabilizer, Empennage, Tailcone, and Wing Covers for Beech Bonanza 36 models protect aircraft surfaces from sun damage, frost, snow, ice buildup, corrosion, and hail. Horizontal stabilizer covers slip over the entire upper surface and wrap around leading and trailing edges, securing underneath with adjustable straps; winter, all-year, and hail-protection versions are available. The Empennage Cover is a one-piece design that covers both vertical and horizontal stabilizers and the tailboom, accounting for antennas, beacons, and static wicks, and fastens with adjustable straps and all-weather zippers. Tailcone Covers shield openings from birds and nest intrusion, attaching securely under the horizontal stabilizers. Wing Covers form-fit around each wing tip, cover the full upper surface, and wrap around the leading and trailing edges, with adjustable straps and cutouts for static wicks; modifications for STOL kits, droop tips, and vortex generators can be accommodated. Covers are made from durable Solution-Dyed Polyester or Silver Acrylic Sunbrella for all-year protection, or lighter polyester for seasonal use, with hail versions incorporating dense foam for extra protection.
Heat Shields and Sun Reflectors:
Heatshields are interior sunshades designed to reduce cockpit overheating in the short term. Made from a composite of closed-cell foam with a reflective silver mylar finish, the semi-rigid panels stand inside the windshield using sun visors or window framing. They fold flat for easy storage in the included sleeve, with some designs using Velcro, suction cups, or split panels for left and right sides. While highly effective for temporary heat reduction, external fabric covers provide more practical, long-term protection for the cockpit.
Miscellaneous Products:
Tire and Wheelpant Covers protect wheelpants, tires, and wheels from sun damage and contact with tow bars during movement. Made from durable Silver Acrylic Sunbrella canvas, the all-year use material provides excellent sun protection and long-lasting performance in all weather conditions, including rain, snow, and intense sunlight.
Light Weight Travel Covers:
Travel Canopy and Canopy/Engine Covers provide the same protection area as standard covers but are made from lightweight Silver Solution-Dyed Polyester fabric, with lining only over the windshield to reduce weight. Ideal for aircraft stored full-time in hangars and only occasionally covered, these travel covers fold compactly for easy stowage, are water-resistant for occasional outdoor use, and are available in ultra-lightweight versions for fitted hangar dust covers. For daily outdoor protection, standard Sunbrella covers are recommended.
