Construction & Finish
Micro Vortex Generators are manufactured under FAA PMA approval from 6063-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum. Each VG is alodined to Boeing mil-spec standards for corrosion resistance and long service life, and supplied ready for paint. Each vortex generator features a contoured base designed to match the aircraft surface for optimal adhesion and aerodynamic performance.
Optional paint matching to your aircraft is available at an additional cost.
How Micro Vortex Generators Work
Micro Vortex Generators create controlled micro-vortices that energize the boundary layer of air flowing over the wing and tail surfaces. This energized airflow resists separation, allowing the wing to maintain lift at lower airspeeds and higher angles of attack. The result is improved low-speed control, more predictable stall characteristics, and enhanced safety during critical phases of flight.
