Made from reflective Silver Acrylic Sunbrella with a full microfiber lining to prevent scratches, reduce cabin temperatures, and resist water, ice, snow, and UV exposure. Includes storage duffle and optional registration imprinting.
Extended Canopy Cover:
Adds coverage down to the wing root, overlapping with Wing, Engine, and Empennage Covers for full aircraft protection. Uses the same durable Silver Acrylic Sunbrella with microfiber lining, shock-cord hem, and adjustable straps to ensure a secure fit in all conditions. Ideal for full-set coverage and year-round protection.
Engine/Prop Covers:
Protect your aircraft’s engine and propeller with custom-fit covers designed for full coverage and year-round use. Engine Covers cinch around or behind the spinner, covering the entire cowl and air inlets, and secure with Velcro beneath the spinner and an aft belly strap. Made from durable Solution-Dyed Polyester or Silver Acrylic Sunbrella, with an optional Insulated version featuring quilted, water-repellent material to retain heat and aid engine preheating in cold climates. Interior Insulated Hangar Blankets offer a budget-friendly option for indoor protection when used with a heater.
Propeller Covers are one-piece designs that slip over blades and spinner, secured with a weather-resistant zipper. Available for wooden, composite, or metal props, they are made from Acrylic Sunbrella or Solution-Dyed Polyester with a full microfiber lining. Insulated versions provide additional warmth retention with quilted, breathable, and water-repellent material. All covers are reflective, breathable, and designed to reduce cabin heat while protecting surfaces from scratches, UV exposure, water, ice, and snow. Optional access flaps and registration imprinting are available.
Plugs and Protection:
Grumman AA1 Pitot Tube Covers (non-heat resistant) protect the full pitot assembly with a Naugahyde vinyl slip-on design, secured at the base with a Velcro strap and featuring a “Remove Before Flight” streamer. Heat-resistant versions are available to prevent melting if pitot heat is activated. Sets can be tethered upon request.
Engine Inlet Plugs are custom-fit for AA1 intakes, made from heavy-duty vinyl with a sculpted urethane foam core. Each plug includes a zipper for foam removal and drying, warning flags or Remove Before Flight streamers, and optional aircraft registration imprinting. Safe to install while the engine is warm; storage bag not included. Also referred to as cowl plugs, intake plugs, or engine blocks.
Wing/Tail/Empennage Covers:
Protect your Grumman AA1 from sun, frost, snow, ice, and corrosion with custom-fit stabilizer, empennage, tailcone, and wing covers. Horizontal Stabilizer Covers wrap the full upper surface and overlap the leading and trailing edges, securing underneath with adjustable straps. Empennage Covers protect the vertical and horizontal stabilizers plus the tailboom, using zippers and adjustable straps to fit around antennas, static wicks, and control surfaces. Tailcone Covers prevent birds from nesting in openings and attach easily to the horizontal stabilizer with padded hooks or overlapping straps.
Wing Covers provide full upper-surface protection, wrapping around leading and trailing edges, and securing underneath with adjustable straps. They accommodate static wicks, wingtip modifications (STOL kits, droop tips, vortex generators), and can be strapped together under the fuselage for added security. All covers are available in all-year Silver Acrylic Sunbrella for maximum UV and weather protection or lightweight Solution-Dyed Polyester for seasonal use. Hail Protection versions with dense closed-cell foam are available for additional damage prevention. Labeled LEFT/RIGHT for wings, all covers are designed for durability, weather resistance, and long-term aircraft protection.
Heat Shields and Sun Reflectors:
Protect your cockpit from overheating with interior Heatshields, made from a semi-rigid closed-cell foam core with a reflective silver mylar finish. Designed to stand inside the windshield or window frame using sun visors, the shields fold flat for easy storage in the included sleeve. Some models use Velcro or suction cups, and certain designs come in split right/left panels for a precise fit. Ideal for short-term heat reduction, though an external fabric cover provides more effective long-term protection.
Light Weight Travel Covers:
A compact, lightweight version of our standard Canopy Cover, ideal for hangared aircraft that need occasional protection. Made from silver solution-dyed polyester and lined only over the windshield to reduce weight, the cover folds easily for convenient storage. Water-resistant and easy to stow, it’s designed for infrequent outdoor use. An ultra-light version is available for hangar dust protection, while the full Sunbrella Cover is recommended for daily outdoor use.
